Bridgegate Security Limited is the largest door security
contractor in England and Wales. Its Head Office is based
in Nottingham and employs door and security personnel nationwide.
We also operate a static guard company and have planned training schedules that give us the flexibility to train and qualify
our workforce to satisfy whatever level of competence
that may be expected.
Bridgegate's experience, expertise, professional standards
and commitment to providing quality of service to our
customers, has made us market leaders in the security
industry.
We not only aim to maintain quality standards, but
are continually striving to improve our service by monitoring
our staff and systems through regular contact and feedback
from our customers.
The Future
2003 saw the implementation of the Private Security
Industry Act, together with the introduction of the Security
Industry Authority, who is responsible for national registration of doorstaff, managers and directors.
In addition, the Security Industry Authority will implement the
legal obligations that require not only security personnel
to be licensed but the managers and directors as well.
The Approved Contractor Scheme is still not finalised. However, Bridgegate has been actively involved with the SIA in the consultation process and will apply for accreditation as soon as the scheme is launched.
There are of course, also implications for issues such
as the recruiting and training of new staff. Bridgegate Security
has anticipated the potential scenarios and is confident
that we are in a position to meet all legal requirements
that may be imposed.
